In addition to Road System Adventures, we can also transport groups of 1 - 6 to premier road system destinations. In our comfortable van, we can transport you or your group to and from the following visitor use cabins or access points.
Visitor Use Cabins
Sweetwater Lake Cabin (pictured)
Polk Camp
Red Bay Lake Cabin | This cabin is a little more complicated; we provide the transportation and help you hike in your gear (boat motor optional but highly recommended). We can also set up the cabin for your group ahead of time.
Amargura Point Cabin--this spectacular ocean cabin is outside Craig. We can get you there.
Day Use Sites and Camping Areas
Gravelly Creek | Great fly-fishing spot with covered picnic area and outhouses near Thorne Bay
Sandy Beach | Beautiful soft sand beach with covered picnic area, campsites and outhouse, located near Thorne Bay
Harris River and Eagle’s Nest Campgrounds
Memorial Beach (this entails an 8 hour drive RT, so special conditions apply) | This place is so amazing, even Katie can’t really put it into words; it has a 3-sided shelter directly overlooking Sumner Strait, and two campsites for tents, along with a vault outhouse and large parking area. Katie remembers camping here while on a work trip her first summer, and waking up in the wee hours to the sound of humpback whales singing immediately offshore. A special experience you’ll never forget.
Things to Know | Reservations for cabins are required and are independent of your transport to / from the cabin. Full cabin descriptions and reservations available at recreation.gov. Our van seats 1-6 comfortably but we may be able to accommodate larger groups - ask us! We may also be able to take you to other locations not listed here. Just ask us!
